Amphibious excavator undercarriage (Pontoons) is manufactured from Q345B (40 Cr) or A36 steel plate. So, they are allowed to be used in brackish water without affecting the pontoon's structural integrity.The pontoon bottoms are also reinforced for rough terrain operation. Each pontoon has 3 independent watertight compartments ensuring pontoon buoyancy ,if one of them is broken.
Except for selling complete set of new amphibious excavators, we also provide service of refiting the land excavators into amphibious excavators. We will design, manufacture and assemble the matching pontoon undercarriage, and you provide the specitication or the working conditions of the land excavator.

Information required for Pontoon design & manufacture:
- the purpose and expected working condition;
- maximum water depth for excavator to work;
- maximum water depth for excavator to travel;
so we will see the necessity of adding the optional spuds and secondary pontoons;

Q:How to operate?
